Fab, sturdy tall pressure fit gate. Great for dogs who can jump a normal gate and safety for grandchildren too!! Good value.

Gate not quite perfect

We have a large German Shepherd and this gate is a prefect height, good quality. We have it installed in a doorway and if installed on outside of frame the door can still be opened and closed. Overall a good quality gate.

A Great Gate For Pets

The extra height and strength of our Venture Q-Fix Safety gates make them a fantastic option for pet owners, even large dogs can be kept at bay thanks to its 110cm tall frame. And for smaller animals and small dogs, the bars are narrow enough to keep them from slipping through yet wide enough for them to see you through the bars.

This is correct, the gate is secured with pressure fitting this means that the holes in the frame do not have threads for the bolts to secure into. To secure the gate you simply need to slide the bolt into the hole, then turn the small plastic collar on the bolt so it begins to slide towards the frame of the gate. Keep going until the collar reaches the frame and tightens. You will notice that as the bolt is tightened it will push the bolt outward, this will then create pressure between the wall and the gate allowing for a firm fixing.
